ORIIC is the public-facing identity of an established multidisciplinary cardiovascular research group that brings together clinicians, researchers, engineers and collaborators from Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, the University of Oxford and collaborating institutions.

ORIIC is not a legal entity and does not undertake clinical care, sponsor research or employ staff.

All clinical studies remain sponsored and governed by their respective institutions in accordance with applicable research governance frameworks.

Individual members retain their primary appointments with Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, the University of Oxford or their respective organisations.
